Meet David – an Executive Creative Director from Yorkshire, who married in Tokyo and works in Hong Kong. At National Portrait Gallery, London, he talks about his passion in branding and favourite places in London, Amsterdam, New York and Hong Kong.

 


Where are you from, where have you been and where are you now?

Born in Yorkshire to a sign writer family then moved to London, Melbourne, Berlin and then back to London. Now living in Hong Kong.

What’s your passion? 

New influences and creative thinking is what gets me out of bed, I’m lucky enough to do this for a living working as a regional creative director for one of the world’s biggest branding agencies.

Bar with no Name in London for cocktails (picture), Peter Lugers in New York for steak, Cafe de Elland in Amsterdam for a cosy Beer (Prinsengracht 296, 1016 HW Amsterdam, Netherlands) and Club 71 in Hong Kong for casual catch up with friends (67 Hollywood Rd, Central, Hong Kong).
