Drawing inspiration from the study “Colors, Emotions, and the Auction Value of Paintings,” which concluded that blue, red, and green artworks achieve the highest auction prices, I pondered further: “Which particular shades of red? And how does texture play a role?”
Given the infinite spectrum and tactile qualities of “red,” it resists simple categorisation. My art encourages an exploration of how nuanced differences in colour and texture shape emotional reactions.
